Allow me to elaborate on my previous comment: Abstract Fonts has the fonts that FontSquirrel has, but a larger collection, thus more difficult to find something you're looking for. They have all the fancy fonts with 3d effects and all that stuff that Graphic designers are not looking for.

Another great site that I have used on many occasions is Abstract Fonts, at www.abstractfonts.com. They have a great forum if you are looking for a free alternative for a commercial font. However, their database of fonts seems to be very similar to FontSquirrel's.
